Caught the bug
Yeah, that kind of bug…so not much to report today. Let’s just say it wasn’t one of the most comfortable bus ride back. Minh and Lindsay (her bf) are doing the “master cleanse” where they don’t eat for two weeks, except for this interesting drink concoction of sugar cane, cayenne, and lime. And it, ahem, “cleanses” your body. So they have sympathy for me 🙂 Sorry if this is TMI; I might have been in VN for too long!
So instead, I thought it’s about time for a photo update. More Mui Ne photos on my flickr if you’re curious.
Stage 0: Kite setup. This was pretty straight forward, surprisingly. Just don’t get your lines twisted!
Stage 1: You steer w/ one hand and really want to relax the grip as much as possible. I (climber) don’t have a loose grip, so that took some getting used to. Also, I should be holding my hand closer into the bar. Physics!
Stage 2: Body dragging in the water
Stage 3: Water start. Ok, doesn't quite show here, but I did get up and "surf", for a short awhile.
Lang Biang Mountain, Dalat. SP at the top. I'm looking a little sunworn (and aged) here.
